At the heart of Bear’s Young Reporters Program are our volunteer Teacher/Advisers. The program gives students at your school (grades 3 through 8) a great reason to write. Advisers get students interested in the program, help them with story ideas if they need it, give Young Reporters input on their stories and help them submit their stories to Bear Essential News for Kids.
Generally, schools should have five to 15 active Young Reporters. Regular meetings (at least once a month) will help your reporters stay on track.
