I’m thinking about creating a Summer Smoothie Stand, where my mom and I will make the smoothies out in front of our house and sell (them) for only a dollar! What flavors do YOU think I should add? (So far we have strawberry, banana and avocado.)

Summer is a great time to start. Kids are enjoying great camps, sports, vacations and a whole lot more.
Young Reporters in Southern Arizona write for Bear Essential News, the Arizona Daily Star and even go on TV with KVOA-4—that’s pretty awesome! Kids going into third through eighth grade can be Young Reporters. Go online to www.BearEssentialNews.com and click on “Young Reporters” on the left side. Print out the Young Reporters form for your area and mail it in to get your official reporters kit.

I’ve been skateboarding since kindergarten! I’ve taken my lumps on a board, so I always wear a helmet, pads and wrist protectors. Half-pipes are crazy fun. And everyone who knows me knows that I love dancing. My Moonwalk will never be as good as Michael’s!
