As the heat continues to make outdoor activities less than pleasant, spend your week at the cooler events that Phoenix has to offer. Stay out of the sun with these daytime indoor activities and enjoy the other outdoor events in the evening.

July 22nd is National Hot Dog Day. Celebrate with some wieners in buns, puns, and beers at the 2nd annual Wurst Festival Ever from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 110 E. Roosevelt. There will have local chefs, as well as comics, so bring your friends out for a good laugh and maybe even get in on the pun competition! The Wurst Festival needs all the taste buds it can get to help crown the "wurst wiener" in Phoenix. Admission is $10 with proceeds supporting local comics and restaurants.
