German Shepherd Club Offers Lessons

The German Shepherd Dog Club (GSDCSAZ) started in 1956 and is one of the oldest dog clubs in Southern Arizona. The purpose of this club is to promote the German Shepherd breed and to education and training. They offer training to all dog breeds. Training costs $75 per eight-week classes. The next training class will begin on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at the Continental Neighborhood Park located at 8900 N. Coachline Blvd.

An exciting event will take place on Dec. 9. It is the AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day. This event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ora Mae Harn Park located at 13250 N. Lon Adams Road in Marana.

At the event you can learn about training classes, see K9 demonstrations by the Marana Police Department K9 Unit and even see a dog costume contest. Visit www.gsdcsaz.org for more information.
