This fall Chandler Fashion Center will open the first Arizona location of Scheels. The grand opening will take place on Sept. 30. “After studying the Phoenix market for several years, we are pleased to announce the first Scheels location is coming to Arizona,” said Scheels CEO Steve M. Scheel.

Once it opens, Scheels will offer a total of 220,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space for the whole family to enjoy during their visit. Scheels is an employee-owned company that strives to provide customers with the best retail experience.

Shoppers will experience a variety of attractions, specialty shops and boutique fashion that makes it a unique sporting goods store. The associates and trained experts will provide shoppers with high quality customer service.

Scheels will feature a variety of fun and familyfriendly entertainment including a 45-foot Ferris Wheel for kids and adults, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium with over 600 fish, a Wildlife Mountain and Fuzziwig’s Candy Shop.

Scheels has 75 specialty shops and will be a retail destination for outdoor enthusiasts, sports fans and fashion shoppers. Scheels also features a service shop to repair and extend the life of your sporting goods equipment.

The Arizona Scheels will become the company’s 31st location, with 29 current stores and one that will open this fall in Montana. There will be 400 employees at the Chandler location.

 From hunting, fishing and camping gear to athletic clothing and equipment shoppers will find the best brands for all their outdoor and hobby needs. Shoppers can also challenge their family and friends to competitive fun with the arcades and sports simulators in the store. Chandler Scheels is located at 3199 W. Chandler Blvd.
